We were having a conversation about the name of the political party, and I would learn through this deliberation with my parents that progress mean very different things to many different people. My mother was working on the establishment of an act for "National Parks." What progress used to mean in Taiwan, at a time very economic development heavy, is actually the lack of progress when seen from an environmentalist point of view.
