My parents tried to explain to me, as well as my uncles and so on, that progress is a lot of different directions. Whenever people feel that there is a social injustice, there’s environment sustainability issues, anything that people can identify that needs improvement, people go ahead and improve it. Inherently, there’s an idea of a pluralism in it. That was maybe my first understanding of politics.
