When we talk about IoT – in Taiwan we say AIoT, Assistive Internet of Things or AI – these environmental IoT devices, they’re built by the social sector, maintained by the social sector, in an open-source way that reports to a distributed ledger that’s a blockchain, enabling everybody worrying about air pollution anywhere to participate in the data collaborative. This is called the AirBox project.
