The second worry of a strong leadership, I think we can distinguish between 威信, which is authoritative confidence, and 誠信, an authentic confidence. It’s both trust or confidence level, but one is asymmetrical. The ruler doesn’t actually trust its subject. It’s just the subjects trusting the ruler conditionlessly.
