Hi, Audrey. It's great to finally meet you. I'm Tom's daughter, so I've been steeped in Tom's world, with all its elements and threads, forever. My own work has been in the green building industry, and more recently in manufacturing and supply-chain systems, which still need these kinds of tools.

I had a little chuckle with Peggy while listening to you, because I'm hearing echoes of questions I have as well. One is what kinds of field-building interventions we can do now. I've been thinking about how we can better use our tools on ourselves as we connect these practice groups. The chuckle was about the saying that a carpenter's house is never finished. In the same way, we use our tools on the applications we work on, but are we using them on ourselves, and what would that look like? So that's one question.

Second, I really love the framing of the demonstrators from Taiwan. I'm very interested in the U.S. right now, in the dangers and opportunities we're facing, and in how we can demonstrate at the local and state level, and toward the national level, to create the kind of resonant interventions you did. In other words, the transfer from Taiwan to here.

The third thing I want to bring in: I recently heard someone say, "There are plenty of theories of change. We need more theories of power." I'd really like to hear from all of us how we address power in the world right now, and how our work can engage with power in ways that shift the systems we haven't yet been able to shift.

I'm sorry I had to step away. I was picking up my daughter. I'm inspired to have the connections, and really interested in the participation officers, and in what's going on with Japan and California, and how to pursue that kind of spread further.
