I was going to say — it is a time investment, and you will have those who have the time and ability to do it. The other concern would be how susceptible this is. One issue would be manipulation through external information, but the other is this: It is nice when one has people one likes in power, but less so when one has people one doesn't. The framing of the questions, and the use of demographic categories — you can say you are getting a representative sample, but representativeness depends on the categories you decide to define a representative, and that itself can be political. How do you deal with those issues?
