In the near future, we move from input‑output to experiential AI agents. Systems will not wait for prompts; they will explore, collaborate and accumulate experience. Much current progress — e.g., coordination for autonomous robots (avoiding collisions) or household skills (like laundry folding) — comes from massive open‑ended simulation, where agents live millions of subjective years to learn policies. Governance will feel less like writing static rules and more like designing habitats and curriculums.
