
Yeah. That brings together so much of what we've been talking about in the last series of Wild that I've been writing about for a number of years now. And that's this idea: we can't fight these big awkward uncles. We also can't stop the collapse that's happening. But what we can do is, A, build these islands of sanity -- to use the Meg Wheatley line -- so that we are steadfast, sturdy. We've got our humanity intact. We're together. We're talking about the kinds of stuff we're talking about here. So we do that. We basically get ourselves strong and sturdy.
